Another likely unpopular opinion- Mel Brooks just isn't funny anymore.

His older films are still worthy; I'm referring to everything else he's done after Spaceballs, and even that one isn't up to his usual standards.

(Yes, I won't be seeing the Spaceballs sequel.)

Spaceballs sucks. Brooks had the opportunity to make an epic parody...and he failed epically. It's not surprising, he's not the first creative genius to run the well dry.

I wasn't going to participate here, but changed my mind. Here goes...

As a vet, I really hate war/combat movies that make little or no attempt to be technically accurate (WRT uniforms, jargon, tactics, vehicles, weapons, you name it.) I think that "Blackhawk Down" may be the closest to any "accurate" movie I've ever seen.

As a firearms instructor, I really hate movies that involve gun handling, but make absolutely no attempt to maintain proper gun handling techniques (i.e. trigger discipline, muzzle safety, etc.)

As a former firearms competitor (combat handgun, combat shotgun, full-auto, among others), it pisses me off no end to hear anti-2A blowhards bellow about how all goes are dangerous and should be banned, when their very statements demonstrate that they clearly haven't a clue about the subject (AR-15s are "fully-automatic weapons", suppressors make guns more dangerous, there's no reason to own a magazine that holds more than 10/6/2 rounds, and so on.)

I could go on, but I sure that you all get my point..

I've never understood the appeal of the 90's sitcom Friends.

When it first came out, I had to sit through numerous episodes because a friend had a thing for Courtney Cox. I just couldn't get into it.

Years later, my parents would watch it and I would occasionally view an episode if I happened to be visiting them. It wasn't getting better.

Recently while in a hotel in NYC last year my daughter turned on the TV and there it was, again.

    Unendurable.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

Jennifer Aniston always had her high beams on.
Besides that I don't remember much about it.
We are much bigger Seinfeld fans.

Be careful, somebody might decide to do a re-boot, gawd forbid they make the effort to come with something new, or even reasonably new.

I would give the regurgitated series an accurate new name, Whineyass White People.
