    I might find it revolting.

I found the thing I put above disturbing.

I remember watching Exorcist when I was 18... it had been banned from the UK for a while but was given a certificate again and I saw it at the student union theatre. At the start a lot of people were laughing and joking at the bad effects... but after a while it just got quieter and quieter and nobody was laughing by the end. What got me was the devil's voice.

Ive seen one of the Saw movies, and people are getting tortured and blood everywhere, I might have looked away in distaste at the most disgusting parts (I dont remember doing so, but I might have)... but I didnt think about it much afterwards. I remember the night after I saw the Exorcist lying away my ears straining for any sound, trying to think of something to take my mind off it.

All this blood and guts gory stuff has much effect on me other than I find it unpleasant.

(and if you think Human Centipede is bad, look up "vomit gore trilogy" online. I strongly recommend nobody watches it as it is simply and genuinely disgusting and as far as I can tell there is no meaning to the film other than a stream of revolting images, somebody once showed me clips from it online and I think it probably went as far as you go in terms of "shock and gore" and it didnt make me feel anything other than a bit queasy and a bit dirty)

Regarding the thread title, I was under the impression that Last House on the Left was still at the top of the pile.

I really dont watch slasher type movies, because any movie where the demon / killer / monster just goes around murdering good looking girls makes me angry and I just sit there fantasizing darkly about beating the demon / monster / killer to death with an iron fencing stake, or stabbing him with a butterfly knife...

But in terms of concepts, the fact that the world might be nothing and come to nothing is definitely more frightening (to me) than any amount of murder and monsters.

If you're going for creepy, this is a good series:

Yeah, I saw this once. I eradicated it from my memory until now because it is pretty damn disturbing.

The most horrifying thing about it, if I remember correctly, is that it was legitimately made for children...

You want horrible? Watch a Serbian Film. Or just read it's wikipedia summary.

Heads up, it's a snuff film. Very bad.

Totally different kind of horrible. THIS one is morbid and creepifying because it was actually made for kids.

Plus, that old-school claymation style wigs me out, too.

I remember watching this years and years ago. I don't think that it's that creepy. There's far creepier.

I finally watched the claymation video in the original post , and I distinctly remember seeing part of that when it first aired on television. I changed the channel then because it was damn disturbing.

thanks but no thanks... i've seen the trailer a few months back and i got the shivers...

Last week I read a post on another board, i believe e46phanatics.com about a surgeon who made and sold human sexdolls... with a full description how he bought and transformed young girls into living sexdolls...
It must be fake, but still scared the crap out of me since it was written so real... if anybody is asking i can post it here, but don't wanna go too much off topic... it could be a perfect script of a horrormovie, that's why I'm telling this here
