so i've always had really long eyelashes and it's at the point now where the top and bottom lashes on the outside of my eye are kind of tangled and it is irratating... not to where it impacts my vision but somewhere between a pull and a tickle. i wondered if there was a tweezing method to train them or some medieval piece of gear that would help me that anyone could reccomend as occasionally using my finger to untangle them isn't working out for me.

and this is neither here nor there but after having my experience i really don't get all the products out there that are supposed to give you longer lashes for girls. maybe it's because i'm a guy but it's been nothing but a pita for me...

I'm pretty sure I seen some sorta female torture contraption for that kinda thing...

Only thing that comes to mind is an eyebrow brush. It has a brush part on one side, comb on the other. I don't honestly know if that will help at all, I have the opposite problem: being a girl with small wussy eyelashes. :( trade you!

I feel your pain. If you happen to notice that my glasses are down at the tip of my nose it's because when I wear them the way they're meant to be worn my lashes touch them when I blink. Periodically that tangle of lashes will knock one loose into my eyeball. Irritating is quite the understatement.

I've also had women compliment me on my lashes and claim jealousy of them, which while weird, it's still nice to be complimented.

I do not, however, have any useful advice or tips to solve this problem. Though if anyone else has a suggestion I'd love to hear it as well.

I was going to say eyelash curler but snowy even gave you a link. I like Settie's idea, too.
I have what my mom called triple lashes. They are not super long but thick. Before I was allowed to use mascara I used Vaseline to train them-- to keep them in place. That could also perhaps help once you get them where you want them situated.

Just buy it and if it doesn't work for you, give it away to a woman you know, because it is awesome.

  9. Soft toothbrush - used to use one for combing them through when applying mascara. Dirt cheap.
