Potentially a seriously stupid question:
How would that look under a black light?

Like, groovy, man.

 

I think I’m getting relentlessly intense in lots of the art I’m making. I call what I do Wonder and Whimsy, the way another artist might say their work is, say, representative landscapes. It’s time for taking a lighter, gentler approach after the last few years. I put too much really intensive commitment in thought, time and energy to a few art pieces post pandemic. It’s a good time for my whimsies to become fully finished pieces. Here’s a 4”x5” sketchbook whimsy that will make a rather sweet painting.
It will probably be called cats and birds or some such.

I’m blocking it in on a 16”x20” canvas.
