Rocket science is easy. You take a tube, put nozzles on the bottom end, put a few people or cargo in the pointy end, and set the bottom end on fire. Before you know it, the top end is in orbit. You have to stick to the principles - there was a real tragedy back in the '60s when they put three guys in the pointy end and the pointy end caught fire.

    First five years covered 100%.
And I didn't have to give up up my turbo diesel engine, either. Stupidly amazing deal.

Even Jaguar has stepped into the future. Now you can buy extra smoke for the Lucas Electrics (extended warranty)! :D

Now if they could just do something about depreciation. Like buying risky stocks, except the loss is guaranteed.

Out with the old, in with the new. Got delivered by my gf's son who works at home depot while in school at 0900. Too early to grill, have to wait til at least lunch to break it in. Looking forward to consistent heat and not fearing gouts of flame emerging from underneath when the rust finally gives way.[IMG]

Finally got a new (to me) car. 2010, 54k miles, great shape. Mazda RX8. Six speed manual transmission, this thing is built for curves. Flew out to Kansas City to pick it up yesterday morning, then drove it back that day to Denver. Washed it this morning. Also has creature comforts like heated seats, leather, memory seating, etc.[IMG]

Just wanted to point out that even though the color is listed as charcoal, there is a lot of mica and in direct sun it has a dark bronze hue as well. But any shadow or cloudiness, and the pop just disappears.[IMG][IMG]

We've been using an electric range top that might date back to '64 when the house was built, and a microwave/venthood dating back to the early '80s (my best guess). We only used the micro as a timer because a previous owner had melted part of the interior. When the venthood started burning out light bulbs every two weeks, my wife said enough is enough.

Our new Maytag elec rangetop has two seven inch burners, one 10", & one 12'. The two large burners are dual, turn the knobs one way to get an extra outside ring.

The new GE oven & venthood has a combo micro & convection oven.

Unfortunately close-up shots only show reflections.

Weird--We bought these from the same store where we bought our built-in oven exactly one year later, 06-30-17, 06-30-18.

I'm a bit of a sunglass snob. My eyes are sensitive as hell to bright light and I strongly prefer non-polarized glass lenses. I've used prescription Vuarnet sunglasses for years, until they became impossible to get in the US.

Seems they aren't impossible to get any more. Took a few weeks to import them from Paris; but darn are they nice.

@Borla is going to ridicule me; but I'm replacing my 30 yr old charcoal grill with one of these.

While I've embraced the culture and flavor of charcoal grilling, ease of use is winning out this time.

I have both. I got my nexgrill in the spring that runs on propane. And then my big green egg knockoff. The propane is so quick to heat up and provide consistent high heat. Charcoal and wood chunks for smoking and occasionally for meats when i have more time. But propane is awfully convenient.
