The Texans hired Nick Caserio as GM, on paper and in theory a good hire. Maybe this will help them land a good HC.

Watt is a fan favorite, but he is aging and has had two major injuries. I don't see any team willing to take his $11M 2021 salary. Even under the best circumstances he would need to be a perfect fit for a team knowing he might only be productive for a season or two. It's possible he would accept less money. And at some point he will face the choice of being a situational player or walking away.

The issue this coming year will be the salary cap. it always goes up but with little to no income this year to each team it will stay the same or go down slightly.

rumor has it that Cam newton may end up in washington, but Alex smith has one more year left on his contract. so who knows.

The falcons are still interviewing. c'mon lets make a decision on a GM so we can move forward.

I don't know if Cam will be viewed as starter after his flop with the Patriots. How his injuries were mishandled by the Panthers sucked, and unfortunately he is not what he once was.

    I wouldn't bother with Cam.
The guy I find incredibly interesting is Darnold.
Out of that draft class I was hoping the Bills would get Darnold or Josh Allen.
The guy I didn't want was Josh Rosen.
I think once you get Darnold away from Gase, he could turn it around in an even bigger way than Tannehill did.
If a team with a good OC/QB coach needs a new QB, then Darnold is who I would try to get.

And if the Jets are smart they might keep him and try to develop him themselves.

I agree. It was stupid to go for it on 4th & Goal when you can tie the game with a chip shot field goal, even more stupid to pull Jalen Hurts. Saying he was playing to win is a bald-faced lie. Would be nice for the NFL to fine or suspend the coach & take some draft picks. IDK what Washington is going to call themselves, but I do hope their new name is something villainous.

The queston of the off season will be Deshawn Watson...

I can understand Watson's frustration, especially after O'Brien's incompetence.

Watson needs to understand he is no (not yet) Brady or Rodgers.
And even with more experience and success, he's still an employee.

I didn't see the Colts v Bills, but it seem that the Bills almost blew it.

We sure tried our hardest, in classic Bills fashion, but pulled it out in the end.
I'm hoping that notching our first playoff victory will restore calm and confidence. Josh Allen was a little too wired up for my liking in this outing.
And Rivers is a freaking statue in the pocket yet the Bills had no pass rush. That has to be addressed by next week.

I agree, and I bet they only get like a 5th round pick for him.
He could be the steal of the century.
If the Bills needed a QB I would be thrilled for that trade.

The Seahawks have played with fire all season.

A depleted Rams team are roasting their ass.

Who can figure out the Rams?
At various times this year I have thought they are great, then thought they suck, and everything in between as well.

NEXT YEAR I HOPE TO SEE FROMM BE THE 2ND STRING BEHIND ALLEN.
I HAVE NOTICED THIS YEAR THAT THE BILLS KEEP HIM SEPERATED FROM THE REST OF THE TEAM INCASE 19 RUNS RAPID THROUGH THE BILLS ORGANIZATION.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS THAT RIVERS WILL COME BACK NEXT YEAR FOR THE COLTS.
HE SEEMED TO BE A BETTER QB AND HAVE MORE CONFIDENSE THIS YEAR THAN HE HAS IN THE LAST FEW YEARS.

I WAS SUPRISED THAT WASHINGTON KEPT THE GAME THAT CLOSE, ESPICALLY WITHOUT ALEX SMITH

Rivers is 39. He might appeal to a team grooming a young QB prospect that also wants to win now. Not so much to a team stuck with a mediocre back-up needing a long term franchise QB.

The Washington Politically Corrects deserve some credit for playing above themselves.

Bad news: Brady is continuing to add to his PO stats and records.

Good news: Belichick isn't looking omnipotent, it seems his "system" does in some ways rely on quality players. But let's be fair here, with a normal preseason and training camp the Patriots might've been a much better team (of course we'll never know).

Lamar Jackson was not going to be denied. Some might say the logo stomp was classless, I say payback is a bitch.

    The Bears defense showed up.
