I looked at my profile and it says that i have been a member here since august 2nd 2011. happy forum birthday to me.

if my memory serves me correct, this version of TFP went "live" on august 1st 2011 but i may be worng..

now granted i was a long time member on the previous version. and i still love this place. its where i can be me and not judged.

what about you? how long you been a member here?

I have no idea when I started but I definitely remember the old version as well.

I think I discovered the TFP around 2005; I was hunting for pictures of cool places to visit and stumbled across an earlier version. It seemed an intriguing place (the dick-shaving thread was especially memorable) so from time to time I would lurk.

I was already a member of about half a dozen message boards and had no interest in putting another thing on my plate; the old rule about not posting pictures of children also kept me from joining sooner (a board that won't let me post pictures of my newborn daughter isn't winning any points with me) but around late 2010 or early 2011, most of the boards I was a member of had gone the way of the dodo, so it was time to jump in.

It's been a blast, it really has. The shame is that's it's so quiet lately. I still drop by and post whenever I can, and I'll probably stick around until the plug gets pulled.

I tip my hat to all the old members who made this place what it was, and the members who still are around (except Solitary Man, fuck that guy)

 

i ended up finding this place because i was searching for boobs, and found this place. for a long time i just came for the porn then one day i jumped into a conversation and yall haven't gotten rid of me yet. lol. and yes i still post alot in uncle phils posting games. kinda hoping that someone will find the porn and stay for the conversation. thats what happened to me.

 

this place is my 3rd home (home is first, work is second) i love prettty much every one here. just wish there werent so many pricks here that ruin the fun for everyone else.

 

October 2014 for me. I think I joined because I was looking into some of the posts on some nsfw stuff, more information and experiences, really.
And then I found out more about the site, the gold mine it is for just nice conversation and openness, and i dip in and out of conversation every so often.

I came from FARK for the very same reason, and stayed the same way.

 

I also heard about this site from FARK if I remember correctly (it might have been StumbleUpon), but at finding it around 18-19 and being 35 now means I have been a member for about half my life at this point LOL. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Made some true friends and traveled a bit to see people from here, wouldn't change it for the world!

 

It was 2006 when I first joined if memory serves right...Jstrider introduced me to it and we were pretty active on TE when we were a couple. I've dabbled in and out since. Long-time. Lots of people I used to converse with...as others have said, I can be the real me here. It's reassuring and a place of safety I have really missed.
