The More Things Change ...

The British Pathe downloaded over 8,000 movies from their archives last week.
They run from the 1960's all the way back to the turn of the century.

The point of this thread is a post that Buzzfeed did using some of the films from the 1930's showing that many of the activities folks were active in then are not much different than what we do now.
I know this has been pointed out quite often but the point is driven home much better when you have pictures to prove it.
Even with our advances in technology we can't seen to stretch our imaginations past some of the basics.
