I copied this from the facebook page of a 15 year old girl. Any comments?

    Her post...

I hate our society today. How plastic women are idealized and flaunted.

Because love is about more than just sex. Hell; im a virgin. And ive been in love maybe twice now. Granted, the first time was with a fictional character, but still. In life, the last thing we should worry about is skin. The skin on our bodies, and the skin on another. It doesnt matter what we look like, if we physically touch, the only thing that matters after that fact is finding your heart pounding at just the sight of them.

Love, is not an equation. You cant calculate the rough edges away. You cant find the differences between yourself, you cant make one thing equal another.

    You just cant.

    Love does not equal sex.

I have friends, who often make this mistake.

    However, sex should equal love.

It shouldnt matter what the other person looks like.

The only thing that ever can is how you occupy the spaces left between each others heart beats.

    Love should be about everything.

@tawnebachus, I would think you'd say what you think first...that's tradition and typical.

But no, sex does not equal love.
Love is more significant than sex.
However, you can have one without the other...it should not be dependent on either.

Although it is very nice, perhaps profound, when you love the one you have sex with
    and it intertwines emotionally.
    Just not necessary.

Everyone's going to have to forgive me- when I read the title, I interpreted it as the comments themselves were 15 years old, and wondered how that could be when Facebook isn't that old yet...

My cynical side says this is girl who is going to be deeply and thoroughly disappointed with sex.
The poor boy who she is in love with will not be able to come close to performing at that level.

My optimist side thinks that she has a good chance of making it for a few years without making any really stupid mistakes.
She might even be the type who plans ahead and will have a condom handy when the time comes.

Mmm, this is the typical philosophical genius of a 1st world 15 year old. I remember writing some ragin', tragic emo poetry at that age.

Every society idolizes beautiful people. In countries with birth control and without arranged marriages, we get the OP.

Hahah, equation. Check out this math: You can fuck to fuck, fuck to love or love to fuck (and love to fuck).

So, @Tawnebachus, what do you think? Do you think it's naive? Do you think it's admirable?

    ...

I also remember the first time I stuck it in a girl and decided that I was hooked on a feeling, high on believin'...

Always show your work in math class:
Fuck to fuck = Scratch-the-itch NSA sex
Fuck to love = Confused teenagers
Love to fuck = Tired housewife
    Love to fuck = Nympho

Sex should never be downplayed. It's a big part of love and it's messy.

Yeah, but one of the two can be cleaned up with baby wipes and thus is a helluva lot simpler.

I was going to edit the thread title, but I guess it's too late for that.

Anyway, this kid is discussing something unfamiliar to her.

It'd be like me posting on Facebook a guide on how pick up chicks.

I mean, I have some great ideas, but none of them have been tested. Like, ever.

Well for one, I am among the retards (apparently like half of the TFP lol) who immediately thought "FaceBook comments from 15 years ago."

Upon realizing what it actually was referring to, and reading the first few lines, I was like, OMG, total naive romantic social networking 15-year-old BS. I think what really did it was claiming "And ive been in love maybe twice now. Granted, the first time was with a fictional character," at that point I was just like Oh. My. God. You have got to be fucking kidding me. Slow down there, Shakespeare of the Short-Bus.

    Ah, young love.

Well I'm in love with a fictional character... Your new avatar. I can still remember all the levels from EarthWorm Jim 2 on Genesis. Such a creative game.

This question has crossed my mind as well.

Why are you stalking and trolling 15 year old girls? Did you use that with her permission?

Probably just because it's so much fun... I mean not to specifically attack that 15-y/o girl, more just to lampoon the absolutely eye-rollingly melodramatic mindset that first-world 15-year-olds often encompass and are so hilariously convinced of its depth.

Also, it's not really stalking - I doubt he specifically went looking for it, it probably just popped up on his screen/newsfeed and made his brain hurt so bad he just had to share it with us; besides, if you go and post some goofy shit online, you're likely to get called out on it. It's the nature of the internet dude.

Because it would be way too embarrassing to go find that stack of notebooks he wrote in when he was fifteen and post his thoughts on love from them.
