First time eating organic grass fed burgers. Wegmans brand cooked them on the grill garnished with avocado, Jersey tomatoes and onions. Tasted good but not as good as a nice corn fed 85% burger.

You need some Southern Georgia, organic, grass-fed 85/15 ground beef. That stuff is amazing.

Veggie fajitas. Easy to put together after working all day.

I baked a spaghetti squash the normal way--halved, baked, & scooped. I did forget to scoop out the seeds prior to baking it, but no big deal, scooped 'em after it baked. I fried six slices of thick sliced bacon, medium crispy. In the grease I lightly sauteed one medium onion with garlic, pepper, & salt. Once I had the 'spaghetti' in the baking dish I topped it with the bacon mix, working some of it into 'spaghetti,' leaving some on the top, then topped that with a small amount of mozzarella cheese. Note--My wife insisted on the cheese, but she didn't realize how little we had left. Baked it for about 15 minutes at 350F, then served it hot.

The nice thing about spaghetti squash is you can use just about any ingredients you want with it. We do it spicy (plenty of garlic, peppers, & pepper), sweet (butter & brown sugar), etc. Prepping it & cooking it is time consuming, though.

Too early to really be dinner, but this made a heck of an afternoon snack.

Last night was chef's salad. Tonight I'm a bachelor, so it'll probably be beer battered cod (from Sam's Club, not bad for frozen food) baked in the new-to-us small convection oven, with mixed veggies.

We buy the 90/10 ground beef from Sam's Club, and sometimes the 93/7 from Kroger if the price is right. For some reason the 90/10 has a better flavor and is meatier than the 93/7. Maybe Sam's Club uses better/more horse meat ;) :p.

Just got home from vacation. No food in the house so we ordered pizza.

After over a week of pigging out, tomorrow is back to trying to eat more healthy.

I forgot to mention dessert. The two nice ice cream choices are Black Raspberry Dark Chocolate Chunk, or Strawberry Harvest.

I cooked a delicious beef brisket, but all of you have seen my meat before. Since it was raining again, smores needed to be cooked inside. Enter Mr worthington and his flame of goodness.

Chicken tagine with apricots, almonds, and garbanzo beans. It's almost paleo. I ate it tonight, hubs will eat the leftovers as my belly is tender from the beans. But the flavors are mind blowing. Next time I will pull a little sauce for myself before I add the beans. Oh, and over cauliflower couscous, which I'd surprisingly never made before.

Whatever I end up cooking, it will have lots of vegetables.
