    I'm heartbroken.

    After a massive cardiac event left her unresponsive, Carrie had been kept breathing through Christmas. It's totally understandable given that her mother, Debbie Reynolds, survives her. I'm glad though, holidays now done, that she was allowed the dignity to go in peace.

    This though, is how she wishes us to recall her demise:
    include in her obituaries that she "drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra."

    More than her acting roles, her quick wit, evidenced in her writing and here in a hilarious convo, are what endeared her to me.

    Yep. This death certainly tugged at my heart strings. The past couple of weeks TT and I have discussed how CG is making it so actors never need to worry about their age.

    Those that knew the Reynolds -Fisher dynamic say that Debbie would go to great lengths to upstage Carrie.
    What a sad situation for the surviving family, especially Carrie's daughter, Billie Lourd.

    And I could easily see up in heaven, Carrie saying sarcastically to her mom,
    "Sure, I just *had to* go FIRST" :rolleyes: ;)

    She had a twisted sense of humor and self-depreciation...including her relationship with her mom.
    You see this at the end in Postcards From The Edge.
