And now, for something completely different...
Large thin crust triple (real) bacon pizza with extra cheese (well done, of course...) :D

I only ate half...I have some discretion. ;)

Tonight will be pork roast, black-eyed peas, & cabbage.

Last my wife cooked Cornish pastie. Instead making individual pies she made one large pie.

My bowl plus the extra bikkies. Grain-free, almost-paleo cheddar jalapeño biscuits. Collards cooked down with ham, garlic, onions, homemade smoked turkey bone broth, and a little apple cider vinegar... Then topped with ham, onion, and tomatoes. And a little bite of black eyes peas for luck.

You can move the girl up north, but you'll never get out all of the south! Luck and money, baby.

    Leftover from yesterday...

Spiced pork roast (cooked while sealed in a bag)
Mixed black eyed peas & collard greens with turkey broth (for luck & money in the new year)
And a glass of Pinot noir

    Last night...

Steamed broccoli & cauliflower, boiled carrots, with cheese sauce (sharp cheddar with a generous amount of Colman's Mustard powder).

Tonight...will be leftovers to be determined.

Cast iron skillet chicken, cooked @500, saw it on America's test kitchen. Moist and delicious, simple, butter and olive oil with rosemary. Smells so good Resized_20170115_171404.jpg

Tonight was black eyed peas (not seasoned the way I usually do them) and corn bread muffins (Jiffy mix, not my wife's homemade).

    Not bad though.
