Don't call it "selling out".


Call it "buying in".

 

We had 16 and killed Goroth, again. 2nd and third bosses (you get to choose) both kicked our butts.

The good news is that the second boss has a mechanism that requires you to grab some balls. Our guild is 50% female and crude humor abounds. Nothing like a few rounds of "grabbing your balls", to make wipe night palatable.

We tend to fizzle somewhat in the summer. Still waiting for that to happen.

 

We only have 3 females as regular players in our guild then a couple more have alts there. Still, anytime there is voice chat things are going to get silly and saucy! Glad you guys had the humor and agreed it makes raid wipe night much more tolerable!

We arranged two raid nights and did not have enough so now we're moving to a Discord server to for voice chat and a guild site there so people can sign up. I'm hopeful we'll get there soon! Argus is about to open and we hope to see some of the new content you know when it is new. hehe. A girl can dream. Your guild sounds like a blast and it is nice that you're all working together on progression!

My guild is the only reason that I still play, they are fun people to game with. It's about as social as I get.

New content is always good (except, maybe, ToC). As of last night, Harjatan (3rd boss) is deceased. He has a soft enrage timer and we were marginally strong enough. We don't usually finish an instance before the next one comes out, we're pretty pleased with our progression.

 

Congrats on downing the 3rd boss! It sounds like you've good reasons to be proud of your guild!

What do you even have to have to play the newer expansion? Do you have to buy the expansions in between when you stopped and started again? If you bought up to WotLK and then wanted to play this new one, do you have to get all the ones inbetween?

Surely they have made it easier.

Part of me would love to play this casually but I lost a lot of love of the game in WoD. Never tried the new expansion.

 

Yeah Warlords just sucked, I hated the game then and took about a year off. From the information I could gather all expansions before Legion have been integrated into the base game. So if you have WoD then you would have to get Legion...I think. Though if you just want to see if the game is fun for you there are trial accounts up to 20. Legion has some cool content, a fair bit of grinding, but with the flex raids and such being a casual player works out well. Do you have a home realm and guild that you love?

 

I just looked into this after talking to my 300 bodybuilding group. I only have to buy a $50 expansion and game time. I got 3 toons on Draka (ally) and three low level toons on YSONDRE (horde). 100 Pally, 100 Druid, 100 Shammy.

I usually my main is Devinebovine Druid Heal specced. Devinebovine - WoW

I am not tied to a realm, I just don't want to spend shit tons of money to transfer my toons again.

 

I’m sure you already have good friends to play with, but if you ever want to come to mellow group or make an alt you would be welcome in our Alliance (and/or our Horde) guild on Feathermoon/Scarlet Crusade. Some of the folks are real life friends, some are friends of 8 years I’ve never met. Lots of good hearts and silliness there though. ❤️ My cousin is coming back on Mon. and he’s not played since level 85! I’m thrilled to bits as WoW is full of really terrific people and many that I love.

If you get the expansion do they give you a free 100? Which was your favorite toon/class to play? What do you most enjoy in WoW? I may be going to try out Argus tonight so that should be odd. Do you miss playing?

 

I have no friends that play wow other than BG and a RL friend. I'm very open to any server where I can game with chill people. My friends may get another server, but I can always just move an alt there.

Heals. Druid is my favorite class. I love main healing raids or parties. Raids are always my favorite but I like 5 party crawls with the right people. I do miss playing but I miss the guild life with cool people more.

 

A resto Druid is always welcome heck any Druid would be welcome. All other classes are good too, we have a lot of alts.

The guild life with loved ones is The main reason I play. I mean I like lore, collecting pets, mounts. Gear and stuff, and exploring content, but yeah the people make it special. ❤️ I miss raiding, though have never been hardcore or good enough for hardcore. I dig tanking though, was healer for many years, but found I like being in the thick of things. We don’t currently have enough to raid but i’m working on that. 5 man instances are good fun and something we really enjoy!

The horde side guild is quiet, but is level 25 and such. Our alliance guild is also peaceful but more active. Are we battle net friends? They just had a huge update to the social stuff. We also have a discord server for raids and such. Pretty friendly group if you would like to make an alt (of any level) or bring a toon we would welcome you with open arms.

We took a 5 week hiatus, Kil'jaeden kicked our butts and folks were getting grumpy about it. We're just not very hardcore anymore.

New content was released yesterday and we killed a couple of new bosses. Totally surprised that 19 people showed up. Getting 10 people online for our 100+ attempts on KJ was getting old.

 

Congrats on having so many builders show up and also on killing new bosses! Did you have fun doing it?

I’m trying to learn to tank again, this time on my Druid, as when my husband has time to play WoW I don’t know if he’ll be tank pally or resto shaman. I miss my pally but she’s having a rest. Stepped into Argus last night, it was very glowey green, flashy, and desolate. My cousin ❤️ came back to WoW after many years away so we’re starting to play in groups again.

 

It was fun. I like raiding with my guild, fun people.

I have a druid alt that I intended to use for tanking; but I really don't care for the in-my-face aspect of that. Mostly I do ranged or heals on my priest.
