Food What are you eating right now?

My grand daughter is visiting....so our meals are kinda not as usual....
And, unfortunately she and Ms. Daka were out at the mall...on their return, they passed a Krispy Kreme, its kinda around the corner from us and I have ridden by it a thousand times and NEVER ventured in, ...seems that she LOVES KK and there is not one anywhere near where she lives....she says the light was flashing for Hot Donuts(?) so now I have had a Krispy Kreme....

 

What did you think? We've only had them once and found them way too sweet. Lots of folks around here love 'em though. I'm drinking a coconut sparkling water and am about to make crab cakes.

 

TOO sweet, you are right....Coconut sparkling water and Crab cakes...yum...all crab, no fake stuff and no filler....well, just a bit

 

I was going to make them but now my husband is! They will be scrumptious, and after this we'll be back to vegetarian diet primarily. Being pescatarian is weird. lol.

 

I'm waiting for my sushi, won ton soup, moo ping, and wine. I'm trying so hard not to get hangry, but I forgot to eat lunch after my workout. Or before.

 

Take out Chinese, I only have the mixed soup (Wonton and Egg Drop) and an Egg Roll..."they" had all kinds of other stuff...(I did "sample" some)
Since my Granddaughter has been here I've gained 2 pounds, "they" made choc chip cookies, and those damn Krispy Kreme dognuts
After she goes home I'll have to "die it"

 

I'm a pescapescatarian. I only eat fish that eat other fish.

I can't believe I (almost) ate the whole thing...

 

There is an OMAHA STEAK store very nearby that I have ridden by probably 500 or more times...really..it's right next to the Post Office, our mail goes to the box and we pick up every few days.
Anyway, a neighbor mentioned that they were having a 50% off sale...so, we went for some Fillet Migs..and left with $`120 in food.
The steaks were very good, Battered cod, very good, Baked stuffed potatos, very good...and certainly easy to just open the freezer and make a choice.
We still have Coconut Shrimp and a few others to try...
I wouldn't pay the full price for this stuff but a 1/2 off it's not a bad deal..

We are trying the Coconut Shrimp (from Omaha Steaks) with a cocktail sauce, some Duck sauce (why is it called Duck sauce, no ducks in it?) and the last of the chicken soup I made and froze about 6 weeks ago....
