I always thought gin tasted like pine sol... And then I realized I was drinking shitty gin.

Friend of mine in Israel messaged me a picture of the sunrise complaining every day at 9am it hurts her face. I told her "that's called morning, it's why we have blinds". I also told her morning is the worst part of the day except for everything that comes after it. She later posted that she regretted getting out of bad that day, to which I reiterated my point about mornings.

Had my own "Godammitsomuch" moment when I realised it was monday and I've got work tomorrow again.

Just take a shot of vodka and chew on some juniper twigs, it'll taste better.

I knew a guy who used to water down his dad's "premium" "select" bourbons, it caused some major fights between them.

The taste of gin definitely changes for the better as you move up in quality. I wonder if Bombay Sapphire is still considered--for mass produced liquor--one of the best/the best?

I can only stomach Hendricks and Monkey. I was surprised at the anti-inflammatory properties. I like it with Sprite Zero of all silly things. Allergic to iodine, so all tonics are out.

Turns out the friend I'm splitting a room with hasn't paid our landlord her half yet... I'm really hoping this doesn't wind up with me paying the whole thing. They've cut my hours so much at work I'm almost losing money because it's ~3 hours there by bus and ~2-3 hours back, meaning for a 5 hour paycheck I'm out ten hours.

@Chris Noyb good to see you again.
To me, the flavour of gin," Beef Eaters" is wonderful.
My Dad stocks his home bar with the most expensive choices. And a huge variety. That high end liquor tastes best, I get buzzed quick, so less consumption and am never hung over.

I'm sick and I can't find my sleeveless leather trenchcoat, or remember if I packed it or got rid of it for that matter.

I work at a restaurant where most of my coworkers have had multiple days they've lost money coming to work. They're probably going to try and demand I find my own replacement or come in.

Fucking PC is not working properly. And I broke my front tooth yesterday.

    Dentist today.

PC tech maybe in future. I just need to buy a new PC for both of us. We haven't bought new ones in almost a decade.

Look, PayPal, you're the one asking for verification. So stop freezing every time I try to send what you're asking for.

    Dear soon-to-be-ex-wife:

Fuck you, and the horse you rode in on. Stop complaining about the shit that's happening because you would not try to talk through things, you would not communicate, and you would not try to work on this marriage. You're losing money on the sale of the house you are taking? Tough shit.

    Post hoc ergo propter hoc?

I like liverwurst about once or twice a year. There's a great local sausage maker (Shuster's) that makes a good liverwurst/braunschweiger. I'll serve some up on Wåsa crisp rye (I sure miss RyeKrisp) with Swiss or Muenster. Then doctor the rest by adding softened cream cheese, scallions, chopped garlic, capers, (if I have any) chopped beet pickles, & mayo to turn the remainder into a thick dip/spread. My boyfriend loves it, so it never lasts very long. The chopped beets were his idea.

    $%^%&^&(*^&* @!$((*# CAR!

Blown cell in battery...couldn't start again after going to Post Office at lunch.
    Lost half the day
    Exhausted.

At least the tow charged it so I could drive it to the dealer to get it replaced under warranty. (I was starving too...not good for someone who's hypoglycemic)
At least I kept my temper...and flexed with the situation.
