    We had a good ol' Plains blizzard today, although didn't get a whole lot of snow. Snow kept moving sideways. 30mph North winds most of the day with gusts to 50mph. So, we got about 5" of snow, but drifts of a couple feet. Like I said, the snow was going sideways, mostly. It probably all landed somewhere around Topeka.:)

    Real temp not all that cold, about 25-30° wind chill a lot lower. I went to the grocery and parked facing into the wind... could hardly get my door open.

    High of 62° on sunday, 29° Monday. Then, a couple of hours ago we briefly had loud thunder, lightning, and half-inch hail. Not sleet, hail. Hard round hail. And it was 20° and windy. That all ended after about fifteen minutes, though.
