What video games are you currently playing?

I didn't know PuBG had a PC version. I just checked it out on steam and holy shit almost 3 million players.

 

Red Faction.

 

Lots! Mostly Slay the Spire at the moment. Roguelike goodness, though I'll likely churn soon due to lack of content this early in Early Access.

 

Still cant get into anything other than WoW really. I dont even really like it at this point, but I've played it so much its something to do for the 2-3 hours from when I get home until I can reasonable go to bed without having t think about it much.

 

My oldest Son, Chip, bought a VR system, or whatever. We, that's Choua and my close family, we're at his house , we are eating KFC, that Choua and I brought to the party, it's my turn. The game is running, jumping and shooting grappling hooks then swinging to the next destination without falling hundreds of feet to your death. So much fun!
Here's what's wrong, I couldn't finish the first round, everytime I fell, I truely had the sensation that I was falling! My legs buckled!
Chip gave me a chair and another turn.
Still, due to my inexperience with the mechanics, I couldn't get the timing of the game. My stomach turned as I fell to my death! SO Real!!
We went on to play some sci fi and first person old western shooters. SO Fun!
My favorite was standing in an arena that looked like Roman empire days...
And we used the weapons from that era. When you had a " mace " or some other brutal tool. You can dismember your opponent and his limbs would fly off. Blood would squirt out on to the areana and your head set. All the while he would be quivering, and his limbs would flinching. Visually stimulating and again SO much fun!

 

Got far cry 5 for the xbone. I'm enjoying it so far. I did play the original far cry many moons ago. While this feels similar, it has enough side missions and quests to be entertaining. There are also some humorous bits as well. I recommend it.

 

I am currently playing: Football Mogul, the original civ, dune 2000 and boom beach.

 

I've watched some of the letsplays.
It looks like you have to shoot, build, and grind all at the same time.
I can't even.

 

I downloaded Black Ops 3 when it was free on PS+. I am very bad at it

 

Hi s is playing the alpha version of some ransom game called Subsistence. It's stupid and strangely addicting to watch!

 

The artistic style of GRIS is a goddamn masterpiece. SO and I been playing it over the past week; solid 10/10.

 

I'm playing 3DX and find it quite enjoyable with a truly diverse community. I have tried other games like it, Second Life, IMVU, but the graphics and play are far better on 3DX.

Anyone else playing it?

 

I've been playing Subnautica for about 3 weeks now, picking it up after reading an article about the best games of 2018. It's like Minecraft, except you've crash landed on an alien water world. Just like Minecraft, you have to go out and find titanium, copper, gold, quartz and more exotic materials to upgrade your living space and survive. Unlike Minecraft, you are constantly running out of food, water and oxygen and are in danger of dying pretty much all the time. It's great fun, the graphics are outstanding and it even plays well on systems with integrated graphics, not that that is an issue for me. It's available on all systems and OS's and it's pretty cheap, about $25 on Steam and $20 on Epic.

 

After a two and a half year wait (due to an insufficient PC), I'm finally playing Fallout 4!

 

I still play Skyrim LE, not SE, with a boatload of mods from Nexus.

I've done Wyrmstooth, and thought it was decent. If you remember the quest "Return to your Roots" where you have to find 30 Crimson Nirnroot, this mod has a place comparable to Blackreach where you can find additional ones. I thought it disappointing that one cannot use the Wyrmstone or Brimstone that could be mined. You can refine it, but without additional mods there isn't any gear that can be made with them.

I've done bits of Falskaar a while back. Wasn't too impressed; never finished. I did like that I stumbled into the place exploring a Dwemer ruin.

Qaxe Questorium I've done parts of. I've bought Whitewater Falls near Whiterun, but AFAIK there aren't any quests for it. I've also bought the Clearspire lodge which is cheaper than Breezehome, not counting upgrades. Clearspire Tower, a Dwemer tower comes with it. There is a Dwemer ruin to clear if you want to get shops built there. If you've played Fallout NV's DLC Dead Money, you'll see something familiar. I haven't done Smugglers' Haven, Mt. Peril, and only partially did Icicle Valley, the quest to become the lord of the place. Never found the teleport tome for the house you can buy there. Haven't found Ol'Arrow Knee, but haven't really looked for it. Vendors added by Whitewater, Clearspire, (both lodge & tower), have pretty good amounts of gold. More than vanilla vendors.

Still have to do Summerset Isles, but have been there. Haven't done Beyond Skyrim Bruma, and have several other DLC sized mods to try. One of the mods I have added some Orsimer that show up near me a bit much. They don't attack, but it's awkward to find one in your basement at Lakeview Manor.

Recently did the mod: "The Forgotten City" and got the "good" ending. IMO it was a great DLC sized mod & it doesn't hold your hand.



Spoiler Warning:

A courier arrives early in game and tell you about a woman named Cassia, that wants you to go in and rescue her brother. You find her brother's body, aged and having committed suicide. His suicide note talks about having gone to the city multiple times & tried to save it's inhabitants, only to repeatedly fail. To save the city, and to do the DLC, you have to go back in time 7 years. The city is ruled by Jarl Metellus, and under the Dwarves' Law. The dwarves' law is very strict: "the many shall suffer for the crimes of the one". There are some things you can do that won't break the law, but you cannot finish the mod & get the "good" ending without breaking it at least once. If the Dwarves' Law is broken the Dwemer golems kill everyone, except the Jarl. Do not kill Jarl Metellus, or cause him to be killed or you'll fail the good ending. Metellus deserves it, but his crimes are in a place that cannot be seen by the golems. You cannot stop Metellus' crimes and still get the good ending.
