I bought the first edition of the special edition of Neil Gaiman's Sandman for JadziaDax as a Hanukkah present back when I worked for Borders.
It was her favorite graphic novel and author.
They are freaking expensive, so I never could complete the set.
Last month I came across the rest of the set in a used bookstore.
I didn't really have the money but I couldn't pass up getting them at half price.

I have read a lot of the Sandman graphic novels but it is amazing to read them in order.
Sandman is brilliantly written and illustrated, elevating the graphic novel to a whole new level.

I'm sorry - the "not Jack' picture looks like Jerry Seinfeld...

(i've always thought that Gerard Butler would make a good Reacher)

    Johnny Cash, by Robert Hilburn.

IME celebrity biographies can be miss & hit. I scored this for a $1.00, figured at the price I couldn't go wrong. The reviews I read were unanimously positive.

I had a good friend with a strong libido (he also had the looks and personality to match) who could get laid without trying. His future wife fucked him legless before they were married. Things slowed way down once they got married. He ended up banging women that previously he wouldn't look at twice.

That reminds me of the old joke:

Why do most brides smile on their wedding day?

They won't be giving any more blowjobs.

My favorite again for the 30+ time...Magician by Raymond E. Feist.
I think I'm going to go through the rest of the series and sagas again...30 large books.

That will keep me occupied after my knee surgery. (tore my ACL )
