Temps gonna drop into the low 50's for highs, with the possibility of our first freeze. YAY!

Our weather over the next three days will/is forecast to be nearly perfect. Early mornings and evenings might even require a light jacket or sweater.

Must have been quite a flight. Hardy, NE is about a hundred miles SW of Lincoln, and about 700 miles from Albuquerque.

    It is October in Alaska.
High winds, wet and about 35F.
Should be having our first snowstorm in a week or so.
The termination dust (snow on the mountains) is working its way down week after week.

Nothing like having your temps drop 20 degrees in an hour or so. Sunny today, windy though, highs in the mid 40's, after 2 days in the 70's.
Come on spring, get a backbone.

It's 55° F and sunny in western Oregon. It SHOULD be 10 degrees cooler and raining cats and dogs. I'm afraid the local farmers and ranchers are going to take a beating (from drought) this coming summer.

It's 35F and sunny as hell.
We still have a lot of snow and ice but it is melting.
The unmistakable smell of breakup (dog poop and melting car exhaust that froze into the ice over the winter) is in the air but it has been happening slowly this year instead of the usual all at once.
There is supposed to be rain all next week so that should be the trigger to make the mud city that is real break up but if it stays this cold it could be freezing rain which would suck so much.

On April 16th we got 7" of snow. The most in one day this season.

High 80s today. Gray yucky morning turned into full sunshine.

Yesterday the thunderstorms and hail stayed mostly north of downtown, gave us a miss except for some light rain.

  17. Thank fuck I moved back to Florida. Where it's expectedly hot and humid. Seems strangely dry but I never lived in SW florida, I'm more used to SE florida which has more of a true subtropical climate zone. But it beats the shit out of cold and anything or anything and dry IMO after experiencing just about all the climate zones available. They've apparently been approaching and setting record heat. I never noticed. It's Florida, whaddya want? Ok, I'd probably take LA weather over any of it, but it's not up to me now unless i wanna live on Skid Row so I'll take SW FL.
Ahh, so I guess it's time for the ceremonious "replacing of the 'Location:'" sidebar

Raining like crazy. 3+ inches over the past 24 hours. That was on top of the 2.5+ last week. Streets were flooded for a couple of hours. Thankfully, it's been warm.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

Winter thankfully appears to have ended.
It was a beautiful weekend in the 60's.
The pellet stove hasn't run in 2 days and I may do a final cleaning and shut it down this week.
