Sketchiness

Elsewhere on teh webs I posted these sketchbook concepts and such from the last few days. I thought this TFP thread I started was a nice place to put them as well.
I used my 8-1/2”x11” hard cover sketchbook while hanging out in the hotel in Doha, Qatar, and the Shangri-La Barr Al Jiddah in Oman - a way to be “useful” while my Lady was busy working. Actually we used her work stint as an excuse for a honeymoon. Efficiency and value for time spent are good excuses to hop from Jordan to Qatar to Oman while it gets colder and nastier back home in Toronto.

 

I’m going to make some concept drawings over the next little while. Either 8”x10” or 8”x12”. Here’s a couple to start.

Not a sketch, but not having posted artwork lately I thought I’d drop a progress shot of a WIP into the thread The piece is 17”x23”, in assorted graphite.

 

This weeklyish drawing “Wave Dancer With Dolphins” is 8”x12”.
I’ve decided to finish it, so I’ll be posting an update soonish.
