Pointless announcements 2.0

Lisa loved hockey, the fighting was some of her favorite parts.
I grew up in Alaska. I played pond hockey most of my childhood.
For those of you unfamiliar with this variation on hockey it's played on lakes or rivers.
You spend a good portion of your time having to stop and go looking for the puck when it gets buried in the snow.
You don't wear any fancy gear and often leave blood on the ice.
If you have seen Mystery Alaska, it's a little bit like that only more so.

 

Does it ever get called ?

 

It does. In fact a key interference call was made in the Canadians game I watched last night.

 

So they were playing with their elbows up?

Gordie Howe. The Houston Aeros. He played with two of his sons on the Aeros. Retired from playing pro hockey at age 91 .

 

Finally getting around to editing the only (non-work related) photos I took in March.

Looks like the only (non-work related) photos I've taken so far in April were all from one day almost three weeks ago.

Damn I'm slacking.

 

This is me, with a few exceptions:

1) My answer to the first question is no.
2) My answer to the penultimate question is "LOL, not for a second do I believe your bullshit!"

Hey, look, I found my way back here. Happy to see that the usual shenanigans are still happening and that this little corner of the internet hasn't disappeared.

Hoping to stick around a bit longer this time.

 

My favorite people are more attractive than not. Does that make me shallow?

 

one hundred million percent what @Borla said. The Good Humans™ wind up being attractive by their very nature of being... well, good.

I don't think it makes you shallow, I think it makes you a human of good taste.

Besides, what makes a human attractive to one person may have no effect on another person. Attractiveness is subjective.

aaaaaand this is dipping out of 'pointless' and into 'not-so-pointless' so I'ma shut up about it.

I'm babysitting a flock of chickens this week while one of my partners and her nuclear family are out of town for a wedding. Chickens are pretty rad.

 

I think with people you like you overlook things that you would notice in people you don’t like. Including personality "quirks" as well as physical appearance.

 

I didn't know where else to put this, but it's a one-minute movie and I HAD to share it!
