Guns N' Roses, but it's a synthpop band from the 80's!

 

Everyone should recognize this little chestnut, but I wonder if anyone has actually heard the whole thing until now.

The song Roxanne by The Police, but it's just "rocks."



Honestly, this is one of those "so stupid you can't help but laugh uproariously at it" things.

Okay, THIS definitely qualifies as unusual! This is an incredibly obscure 80's band called the Coupe de Villes, and if that name rings any sort of bell, you'll recognize these guys who did the end title song for the cult film Big Trouble in Little China.

They put out one album, "Waiting Out the Eighties":


Who are these guys? John Carpenter (yes, THAT John Carpenter) Nick Castle (yes, THAT Nick Castle, the guy who plays Michael Myers in the 1978 Halloween movie) and Tommy Lee Wallace, a screenwriter who worked with both of the aforementioned gentlemen.

Not gonna lie, I'm diggin' the music on this album!
