The NFL 2026 draft is over, so why not have a new thread for the 2026/2027 season?

How did your favorite team do with trades & in the draft?

I can't really speak to the Texans trades, other than the offensive line has changed considerably, yet improved only marginally. If you mix in the draft choices, I still question Caserio's ability to build a truly very good OL.

Since I don't follow college ball, most of the draft is an unknown to me. I do agree with why did the Texans draft yet another tightend? So high in the draft? Another OL player would've made more sense to me.

Does Caserio relish being a contrarian when it comes to the offensive line? "The slightly above average offensive linemen I brought in will do fine."
Did someone with the Patriots keep him in check when he was one of "the brains" behind the Patriots?

There are numerous articles analyzing the 2026 draft so I'll post a link to one overall view.

I'm happy with the Bills draft.
Beane traded down 3 times in the first round and ended up out of the first round entirely, but still got the edge rusher they needed and a bunch of extra picks to go with him.
I don't follow college ball either, so who knows how these guys work out. Then again, the college football experts who do this 365 days a year are often wrong anyway so who knows?

One of the biggest/most needed moves the Texans made was firing the QB coach Jerrod Johnson. The question is was promoting Jerry Schuplinski a wise move, or would have a fresh face been better? Which outsider?

Something tells me most good QB coaches are looking to move up, not laterally (unless the future OC position is promised).
