Bryan Larsen Paintings.

I randomly ran across this image and was fascinated by it.


Doing some research, I found the artist who created this is Bryan Larsen.

He does a lot of imagery involving astronomy and children (so I'm tagging @genuinemommy in this thread, 'cuz it might be up her alley!)

Although regarding that first picture I posted, I have to admit- as much as I love reading, if that was the view outside my window, I think I'd put the book down and just stare out the glass for the next ten or twelve hours.

 

I'm going to nitpick. To my eyes the book isn't open enough to be read, & her left hand is inside the book instead of holding it.

I'll see myself out now.

 

I suppose she could be doing the same thing I would admittedly be doing- pretending to read while being entranced by the heavenly sights of the cosmos literally hanging just above you.

(In grade school, I was the kid staring out the window at clouds.)
