I guess that depends on how good you were
I believe the theory states that it's
difficult to jump ladders, and the higher up you are the longer you have to fall. If she still wants you, I don't think that places you on the friend's ladder.
Then again, it's just a theory (more like a hypothesis, but it's fun to say "theory"), and just one on the internet at that. I find it interesting and can relate to it in some cases, but the guy does seem pretty bitter.
