This is solely my own opinion, but I think that DU is the refuge for far left conspiracy contingent much the way I think FreeRepublic is for the right.

I have heard many Democrats shun the site for that reason.

It is also a shining example of what I never want on TFP; mindless vindictive, unsubstantiated accusations, and overwhelming censorship.

And if you spend enough time lurking there, you will find that posts like the one you linked are deadly serious.
