Considering that you get 30 days of play-time by purchasing CoH (a $15 value) you are essentially only paying $35 for the game. The $15 monthly fee is completely justified because of the enormous costs of maintaining a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG). You seem to forget that there are servers, hugely expensive bandwidth, 24/7 customer service reps, and
teams of coders working on adding to the game as you play it. The first
free major update is due within a month and is funded by a part of said monthly fees.
If monthly fees offend you, please keep playing Diablo 2 and Half-Life.
