I think his failure is in pressure situations. I can't tell you how many times I watched him falter in pressure situations last year. He would bean consecutive batters, walk , than get pounded. I would like to see left handers batting avg. against him. I bet it's tremendous.
I think Kim has some really good stuff and I hope he can come back and contribute. I saw him pitch about 8 times last year in Boston and he had awesome movement. I honestly think Kim's woes are much like Derek Lowe's so I don't see racism being involved. He just needs some confidence and a good shrink.
