Battle Royale is possibly the best movie ever made. The only problem is that the actual Japanese version isn't subbed, you you need to buy a Honk Kong or British release of the movie. Chances are, no matter where you buy it, you'll get a bootleg version, so just aim for that, can be had pretty cheap online. I bought both movies at
www.battleroyaledvd.com, not sure if their bootlegs, but there good and have english subs.
Battle Royale is an incredible movie, and I higly reccomend it. Read the book afterwards, its worth it to find out more about the characters.
Battle Royale II is a good film as long as you don't expect it to be as good as the first one.
