I know there's a lot of players out there who have a strong dislike (dare I say "hate"?) for modeling amps.
But I ain't one of 'em. I've been using a Line 6 Flextone II XL combo for three years. I love, love, love it! It's great to have so many tone possibilities right there in one amp.
I use a guitar that I built from leftovers and I also use a Telecaster. With the Flextone, I've created specific rhythm, lead, clean, etc tones for each guitar. Now I don't have to worry about trying to "fix" the amp settings on the fly, since everything's programmed and saved on the amp.
The Flextone's line-out is also great for direct recording or feeding a P.A.
It just sounds great!!!!
