3-4 yrs ago i bought groceries online for a year or so.
it was nice to have the heavy stuff delivered, such as big boxes of laundry detergent & kitty litter, etc.
but after a while i found the whole process to be even more annoying, time comsuming & less satisfying than to just get dressed, get into my car, hand pick & fetch it all myself.
peapod & webvan both went belly up my area shortly after i decided to quit using them, but then that was the the time of the dot com bust anyway...
safeway offers online groceries here now, but i really have no interest anymore.
