Hmmmmmm difficult question...
In Flaming Moe's he claims his forefathers were 'bar tenders to the Tsar', but I guess that doesn't mean much. In another episode, strangely enough his internal monolouge chatises him for not speaking in his Italian accent anymore 'whatsamattereh?'
As to where he was born, I can't recall...
