no kidding.
I had to switch phone service to get the DSL. For the first few days, people had problems calling us. We would get a half-ring and then nothing. They would say that the phone was busy when they tried again (we weren't on the phone).
This morning. My "line in use" light is lit up but nobody is using the phone. Unplugged all of the phones and tested one, nothing.
We had no phone all day until a storm hit. About an hour after the storm, our phones worked again.
I think the tech that installed the new phone service screwed something up. We have a tech coming tomorrow morning.
