Oh, my bad.
Well in that case I think everyone should have a permit to own a weapon, not just a permit to carry a concealed weapon. I think guns sales should definitely be monitored by the government, the state, if not the federal.
EDIT: either way, most gun murders are committed by less-than-model citizens (if the murderers are even US citizens).
