Have you considered World Series Baseball, since it has an amazing trading system.
One of the posters on another game forum stated that if you traded an all-star player, i.e. ARod to a inferior team, like the DRays, he would indicate that he would rather retire at the end of the season, then continuing playing for the DRays, which he followed through.
