The morning after pill needs to be taken within a day or so -- the sooner she gets it - the better - -and she has to go - I doubt any clinic would give the pills out to a male.
You probably have nothing to worry about - but better safe than sorry --
As far as I know, the morning after pill has no long term ill effects - it's just a highly concentrated birth control pill
