I prefer the view of Gary Larson in the Farside:
Optimist: The glass is half-full.
Pessimist: The glass is half-empty.
Indecisive: The glass is half-full, no wait, half-empty, no, err....
The Realist: Hey, I ordered a cheeseburger.
At least those are the what I named the characters in that one, I don't think they actually had names, just viewpoints, I associate most with the realist.
