On the other hand, Holland doesn't, so far as I know, have any plan to try to claim the north pole, whereas Denmark does, and I can see a soggy-footed fellow favoring their claim. Since that claim is arcanely based on a submarine continuation of Greenland, injecting it into the public consciousness through a work of art (such as it is) might bolster their claim in the public eye somewhat.
