this is probalby the only thing i really agree with. while i don't think anyone "needs" guns, and i see no problem with requiring permits and whatnot, i don't see any reason not to allow a law abiding citizen to have them. just make sure they know how to use them and be safe with them. i actually went to a gun range about a year ago and it was surprisingly fun, so i completely understand when people say that their a hobby now.
