He's doing himself some favors because he's playing the game, personally I download all games before I buy them, I would have wasted an insane amout of money had I bought every game I wanted to play, take True Crime for example I downloaded it and palyed it for maybe a day then got tired of it, now that saved myself $80, see so there are favors to be gotten from downloading.
