Hubby's gonna kill me for this but... I've given him a manicure and a pedicure. He bites his nails and tears his toenails (gotten ingrown nails more than once cause of it) so he sometimes needs a little more care of them. I've buffed his fingernails till they looked almost polished.  I think a well groomed man just looks more attractive. Torn ratty nails or jagged edges aren't nice to feel when you touch either. Same situation here. My girl does the same thing to my nails as I am also a biter. It's kinda cool actually. Were it not for her I'd just resort to being a scruffy-looking slob again. I think she takes pride in the fact that she's able to maintain me.
