I've met two people through the internet. The first I took out and we walked around the Mall of America for a few hours. Had fun but no 'click.' She then invited me out for her 21st birthday. Just before I met up with her she asked me to pick up her friend. I showed up stoned, the friend and I split a bottle of wine and then went out. After a night of hard drinking (on her part) we went back to the friends place and had some great sex. I've stayed in contact and have been dating her non-exclusively for the past 6 months or so. She came to see me in London and we traveled to Paris for new years together.
The other one I met we just hung out. I think that there could have been more but I wasn't feeling it at all.
I'd like to meet more, though there is a certain stigma attached to it from people who don't do it.
