all my faults and all my dreams
collide with pain and self esteem
I drink too much, I cannot sleep
at night I wait for someone sweet

a stranger with so much heart
she’d kiss me lightly, then we’d start
to find a love, we’ve never found
buried inside our dreams

lay in bed through waking hours
breath is calm and mind is sour
