I basically did the same thing, but didn't get near the responses you did (and not any that were too creepy.. just a few)..
granted, the only differences between our two adds were: 1. I didn't say I worked out... 2. I mentioned museums... apparently museums are a turn off for gay culture where I am at*grin*
I actually ended up with about 4:1 ratio of girls:guys, so I didn't do that bad, but actually the only one I ended up actually hanging out with was one of the guys.. He actually had a decent band playing that he was friends with and I hadn't been drinking in a while so we went.. Had a blast and I plan to go again when the band plays next...
I would have to agree though.. craigslist is definatley... well, you get what you pay for
