Brand new car with no collision coverage? I guess that would save you some money but I have to question the wisdom.
We pay about $1600 a year for our 2 cars - '98 MB SLK230 and '95 Acura NSX, full coverage on both. I'll just say we're both old enough that it doesn't matter how old we are for insurance purposes. My wife has 1 speeding ticket and I'm clean.
A LOT of what you pay for insurance is based on where you live.
