I say you got it from your girlfriend. Oral herpes can be transmitted easily and doesn't necessarily have to manifest right away. Once you get it, it never leaves and tends to manifest at random or, sometimes, under specific conditions. For example, if I get a chancre sore, it's usually when I'm really stressed out
