I'm researching a new CPU fan and stumbled across this interesting tidbit...775 or 478 socket chip. I thought this was going to be easier than this, I should have known. So any of you hardware folks out there care to educate me on some of the finer details of how I go about garnering this info? My end goal is to be able to pick out the fan that I want, buy it and bring it to someone to have it installed. I know that I don't have the skill to install it, but I should be able to figure out which one to buy dammit!
