I was a huge fan of the first album, and picked up Phase One: Celebrity Takedown when it came out. So, when I heard they were actually DOING a second album, I was pretty excited. I picked it up the first day it was available, and was very impressed.
From the first time I heard Kids with Guns, Feel Good, Inc., and Dare, I knew they had another winner on their hands. For many the album takes a listen or 2 to really catch them, but I think that overall the album is better than their first.
If you're not into it as much and still want a new Gorillaz fix, pick up Laika Come Home if you haven't already. That's definitely fun.
