I'm a linux noobie trying to get phpBB running on Mandriva. I already installed Apache and MySQL (server, client, libraries, headers). Now, I'm trying to get PHP working, to no avail.
I use the following:

./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --with-mysql --with-zlib-dir=/usr
and the process runs smoothly for a while, but then come up with this:
