you need to find the folder that the power point is in, go to Tools, Folder Options......

Then go to File Types

Then find the extension "PPT" and make sure "Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation" is selected as the program

if Adobe Acrobat is the program selected, change it to PowerPoint

if that doesn't do it, I guess you'll have to keep "Open With" going!
